Historic Runnymede Farm is recognized as the oldest continuously owned Thoroughbred farm in Kentucky. The property in Bourbon County, owned by the Clay family, is dotted with historic buildings from the 18th and 19th century, and holds tales of Civil War intrigue. Runnymede Farm has been home to many champions over their storied history, including Breeders’ Cup winner Lady Eli, Kentucky Derby winner Ben Brush, Belmont Stakes winner Hanover and more.
