Spendthrift Farm welcomes you to immerse yourself in the historical culture of thoroughbred breeding. Sitting on over 1, 200 acres, we are the home to champions such as 146 Kentucky Derby winner Authentic, #1 General Sire Into Mischief, 4x Champion racehorse Beholder, and more. Spendthrift’s colorful founder, the larger than life Leslie Combs, was known for both entertaining celebrity guests and revolutionizing the thoroughbred industry. Upon arrival to the farm, you are welcomed by two stone eagles guarding the front gates which lead to a beautiful tree-lined drive surrounded by lush Kentucky Bluegrass paddocks.
